Kahla Currently | Fifteen

Feeling: Sick. LOL. Ugh. Blaming the weather changing, and everyone at my job that’s suffering from the same cold. This week is jam packed with work, a blog event, a cycling class, and wedding festivities AKA this girl ain't got no time for this sickness. SOS send Nyquil.

Watching: Stranger Things 2! Ben and I just finished it last night and wowza what an intensely packed 9 episodes. I forgot how much I missed this show after Season 1 ended. Have you guys watched yet? They also have a new “Beyond Stranger Things” talk show that features the ST cast and crew, while talking about events happening in the episodes. We watched the first episode of that and TBH I felt it was a little…eh, awkward? The chemistry of the panel seemed weird. Maybe because it was their first one? I’ll watch another episode of BST before writing it off completely.

Loving: The new Hearth & Hand collection at Target. Chip and Jo nailed it, just like we knew they would. Here are a few of my favorite picks from the collection:

Listening to: ALL OF THE NEW TAYLOR SWIFT SONGS. Every new release is another new favorite. Kelsea Ballerini also has a new album out. Everyone following along on Insta knows I’m obsessed with Roses. Who are you listening to lately?

Celebrating: The hubs and I just had our one year wedding anniversary on Sunday. Wait what, how has it already been a year? It blows my mind that it’s flown by so fast. I can remember getting ready with my girls at Safety Harbor Spa, walking down the petal covered aisle to Ben, and shaking our newly married booties on the dance floor like it was yesterday.

Blogging: I launched my first ever holiday gift shop on Keeping Up with Kahla! You can shop my picks for holiday gifts on this page. I'll still plan on doing some focused gift guides for you guys, but I'm just so darn excited to have a curated collection for you all to shop.

Eating: Pad thai. Well “Thai Favorites at Home” to be exact - ha. To celebrate the whole “being married for one year” thing, Ben and I signed up for a cooking class at Sur La Table in Hyde Park Village. As soon as we saw the “Thai Favorites at Home” class, we knew that was the one we had to take. Cooking is not my thing, and I still had a blast! I even got to use an immersion blender for the pumpkin soup course that we made. Kind of want one of those now. I’ll have a full review of our experience at Sur La Table’s cooking class up on Keeping Up with Kahla soon enough.

Recommending: This facial spray. You’ll literally compare it to a kiss from a rose on the grey - Seal style. I like spritzing a few drops of this stuff on my face just before I head to bed.

What have you been up to recently? Let me know in the comments.
